DCMST Competitions
All freshmen take a course to learn how to create web pages. They use their skill to investigate a science topic and present their findings on a web page. DPS hosts the websites. The contest is sponsored by the University of Central Florida.

All sophomores enter the DCMST Science Fair Winners go to the Science and Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit. Winners continue onto the Michigan State Science Fair and/or the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair |
All students may enter math competitions. Some students join the Math Competition Club to practice skills. |

New in 2007, Epidemiology will be offered to students interested in the spread of diseases. All student s will enter The College Board's Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition. |
